AMCHAM Internship Program

AMCHAM Thailand offers internships for undergraduate and graduate university students throughout the year

AMCHAM interns join a small but dynamic team and receive exposure to a wide variety of business-related fields including administration, corporate public policy, economics, marketing, public relations, and legal and regulatory policy.

Interns are responsible for supporting our events and communications as well as monitoring news collections, cabinet announcements and regulatory developments. AMCHAM interns have the opportunity to attend AMCHAM meetings and events where they can meet and network with successful business leaders, as well as hear presentations from Thai and international guest speakers.

As a non-profit organization, AMCHAM is not able to offer its interns monetary compensation. Internships are available for a minimum of 3 months full time, or 6 months for part time. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis, and only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for interviews.

OUR SCHOLARSHIP STUDENTS

Celebrating students who are pursuing their dreams through scholarship opportunities

My internship at AMCHAM taught me vital skills of effective collaboration and what methods the AMCHAM Thailand Foundation utilizes in order to help Thai schools all across the country from Chiang Mai to Songkhla. It has exceeded my expectations and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in gaining insight about management and charity work. Furthermore, the AMCHAM team was also extremely welcoming and friendly and was more than willing to help me with any questions I had.

This internship has given me a glimpse into the world of business and provided the opportunity to interact with leaders in their respective fields. I would intern at AMCHAM again without a moment’s hesitation.

The events that AMCHAM sponsored were one of the best parts of the internship. They allowed me to take part in informative presentations and have access to otherwise unknown events and opportunities. I would recommend this internship to anyone who wants to network and make themselves more visible in the business climate of Thailand.

It has been exciting to see my skills get utilized in a real world environment and know the work that I am doing during my time with AMCHAM internship actually matters. My experiences and the AMCHAM team have helped mold me into a more versatile student and future candidate for employment.

Being involved in a variety of activities such as T-AB, the Membership Directory, and the Memorial Day Golf Tournament was beneficial in understanding the types of environments in which international business can take place. Working at AMCHAM gave me the opportunity to better understand the business relationship between the United States and Thailand and how AMCHAM can serve as an important middleman to trade and communication between businesses.
