My internship at AMCHAM taught me vital skills of effective collaboration and what methods the AMCHAM Thailand Foundation utilizes in order to help Thai schools all across the country from Chiang Mai to Songkhla. It has exceeded my expectations and I would recommend it to anyone who is interested in gaining insight about management and charity work. Furthermore, the AMCHAM team was also extremely welcoming and friendly and was more than willing to help me with any questions I had.
My internship at AMCHAM Thailand gave me invaluable work experience. The staff was very welcoming and there was never a dull moment in the office. The people that I met and the skills that I developed have helped me begin to build my career.
My favorite part of my summer with AMCHAM was being able to attend whichever AMCHAM events interested me. I was able to learn about various industries in Thailand and network with many different business professionals.
This internship has given me a glimpse into the world of business and provided the opportunity to interact with leaders in their respective fields. I would intern at AMCHAM again without a moment’s hesitation.
The events that AMCHAM sponsored were one of the best parts of the internship. They allowed me to take part in informative presentations and have access to otherwise unknown events and opportunities. I would recommend this internship to anyone who wants to network and make themselves more visible in the business climate of Thailand.
It has been exciting to see my skills get utilized in a real world environment and know the work that I am doing during my time with AMCHAM internship actually matters. My experiences and the AMCHAM team have helped mold me into a more versatile student and future candidate for employment.
Being involved in a variety of activities such as T-AB, the Membership Directory, and the Memorial Day Golf Tournament was beneficial in understanding the types of environments in which international business can take place. Working at AMCHAM gave me the opportunity to better understand the business relationship between the United States and Thailand and how AMCHAM can serve as an important middleman to trade and communication between businesses.
